Work Flow Designer
UniDocs Workflow Designer is an independent module, created as a Windows desktop software package with a user interface for creating and describing diagrams of business processes by BPMN notation standardized by OGC, which records information in the XPDL, XML files for the standard description of business processes suggested by international organization of Workflow Management Coalition.
In this way, business process analysts can feel free to analyze the business system solutions, without any consequences for the current operating version of workflow system. The application is implemented as a graphical tool that fully complies with BPMN (Business Process Modeling Notation), by the appearance of graphic symbols, and also by the structure of the business processes definition, which are declared by this standard.
Software package provides analysis, design and reengineering of existing business processes, as well as the direct implementation of projects in the operating system for the management of processes (workflow engine).
All processes are defined in XPDL (XML Process Definition Language) format, which is a standard for storing, sharing and use of the business processes definition. Definitions written in this format, could be changed without any impact on the executive system. This means that, during the analysis of business processes, unlimited number of different versions of diagrams for each of the business process could be created to find optimal ways.
Application works regardless of the unique database of any company, and it was developed in accordance with current standards, as multidocument application, which allows opening a large number of windows with BPMN diagrams, at the same time.
It is very easy and intuitive to use, primarily due to the fact that all recommendations of the OGC are embedded in user interface, as a set of all the best properties, notations and metodologies that have been developed.
