UniDocs METADESIGNER


Module for defining the structure of concrete document system, which is being implemented at the moment. Using this module does not require programming or any specific technical knowledge, and it refers to entering implementation parameters through standard Windows dialogues which determine the look and behavior of the system (defining users, groups, types of documents and files, characteristics of documents, permission and restrictions, bulletin boards, etc.).

UniDocs Metadesigner is being used for the implementation of the system, and business system customization needs, or its organizational parts.

 

User interface of this module is very intuitive and provides a listing of all parameters that define the behavior of the system. This module allows system parameterization, which ensures UniDocs software system control of documents and business processes, with just a simple input of parameters which describe business system. Introduction and automation of the process can be carried out through phases, and each implemented part of the system could be changed and improved without any need to stop the system work.

 

UniDocs META designer allows defining all the content parameters and ways of behavior, which includes the following main groups:

 

  • Basic classes of documents, with or without attachments
  • Classes of complex documents - files
  • Joining the attributes to a set of defined classes of documents
  • Classification of all types of documents
  • Defining of all users and groups in the system
  • Defining permissions for users and groups to perform operations on some classes of documents
  • Defining the ad panel
  • Defining the automated procedure flow
  • Defining all system resources (disks, scanners, printers, etc.)
  • Integration of defined types of documents with other objects from the information system, defining 1-m and m-m relations between documents and other objects (special types of attributes).
  • Defining the right to administration group, and other parameters.

 

Meta designer is easy to use and allows business process analysts, experts for quality development system and other managers, to implement the system through describing the documents and business processes, without any need for programming knowledge.
