UniDocs CLIENT
UniDocs Client is the main user system module. It should be instaled in any of the workplaces that are the part of the automated business process, or process (form, edit, review, or verify) some of the documents related to these processes.
UniDocs Client module allows users to perform all necessary operations with documents through a single user interface. It provides tools for clustering the documents in works and projects, regulation of content and other operations.
Simplicity, intuitiveness and automation of this module ensure easy acceptance by user. Some of features in this module are:
- Permanent access to the list of received, sent, and documents in the work zone
- Creating of a new document
- Editing an existing document
- Overview of the document
- Entering, editing and review of descriptive data (attributes) about the document (secondary documents)
- Overview path of the document
- Automatic and manual sending of the document one step back
- Reviewing and maintenance of ad panel
- Archiving documents
- search based on multiple criteria and download documents from the archives
- Auditing documents management
- Creating of documents with attachments (documents, with more files)
- Working with complex documents (maps)
- Protection of individual documents
- Delegation of licenses for a single document
- Setting criteria for alarms
UniDocs Client, in addition to the above mentioned basic operations also provides following functionalities, such as:
- Electronic signature of file documents (requires PKI infrastructure)
- Download documents from the MS Outlook mail client
- Sending documents by e-mail (MS Outlook)
- Automated import of documents from a network scanner
All features are controlled by UniDocs's global system of permits, so that each user on a certain class of document can only do operations according the permitions.
UniDocs Client can be used in the Desktop or web version. Desktop version is a standard Windows application and Web version works through the web browser (Internet Explorer) as a thin client.
