Alarm Client


In addition to the basic functionality of alarming users by audio and text messages about the actions that had occurred or had not occurred over the document in accordance with the action that the user wanted to follow, and that is the part of the Client module,there is also an Alarm Client as a separate system functionality of UniDocs Document Management system.


Alarm Client works by monitoring the number of documents in the in, work and out area of the Client application, so when the user is off-line from Client application he receives timely information about the status of the documents that he needs to work with. Also application displays notification about snoozing alarms and notifications about changes on bulletin boards. Every next change in the amount of documents (document gets deleted, forwarded, a new document gets received etc.) will be indicated with a sound beep and a text notification in form of a pop-up balloon in the corner of the screen. Alarm application will, according to the criteria and time period, check the number of documents in the Client application's zones, state of the bulletin boards and alarms (both: active and snoozed) and notify the user with text messages.
